“It was, and remains, one of the best decisions we made. The Atticism delivered results with more exposure than we could have hoped for—and with a tenacity and attitude that made the entire experience seamless.”

The Big Bounce Australia: A Long-Term PR Partnership Built on Results
A Long Term PR Partnership Built on Results
The Big Bounce is not an average event. It is a touring spectacle. Certified by Guinness World Records as the World’s Largest Inflatable Castle, it transforms cities into oversized playgrounds and draws thousands of families at every stop.
When the event launched in Australia in 2019, the ambition was clear. Build awareness quickly. Establish credibility. Drive ticket sales nationally. Since then, The Big Bounce has expanded its footprint, introduced new attractions such as Sport Slam, and returned year after year to growing demand.
The Atticism has been its strategic PR partner from day one.
Our Role
As retained PR partner for over four years, The Atticism has led communications across multiple national tours. Our scope has included:
National media strategy
City by city campaign rollouts
Launch communications for new event zones
Stakeholder and partner messaging
Crisis communications and reputation management
This has never been a one off campaign. It has been a sustained national presence, managed with consistency and momentum.
Publicity and National Coverage
From the outset, the objective was to make The Big Bounce a household name for Australian families.
For the 2019 launch campaign alone, we secured more than 178 media hits and generated over 78 million digital impressions. Coverage spanned television, print, radio and major online publications, including front page stories and live broadcast segments that drove immediate ticket demand.
Each tour since has built on that foundation, reinforcing brand familiarity and maintaining strong media relationships across states.
Crisis Communications
Live touring events come with complexity. Weather disruptions. Schedule changes. Public scrutiny.
During COVID 19 and again in 2022, The Atticism provided hands on crisis communications support, managing event rescheduling announcements, stakeholder communications and community messaging.
When a complaint escalated into a negative viral segment aired on A Current Affair, our team moved quickly with a coordinated media response strategy. We worked directly with stakeholders, controlled the narrative, and focused on restoring public confidence. The outcome was measured, calm and commercially stabilising at a critical time.
Influencer and Community Engagement
Beyond traditional media, we have delivered targeted influencer engagement to amplify reach in each touring city. Messaging has been tailored locally to resonate with families, schools and community groups, ensuring relevance rather than generic national noise.
This city specific approach has been central to driving ticket sales and repeat attendance.
Why This Work Matters
For a US based events company entering the Australian market for the first time, understanding local media dynamics and public expectations was essential.
The Atticism did not operate at arm’s length. We embedded ourselves within the strategy, advising on positioning, messaging and risk management, ensuring each rollout was smooth, scalable and commercially effective.
The Big Bounce continues to tour Australia.
Our partnership continues with it.
If you are a global brand looking to enter the Australian market with impact and control, we know how to make that happen.
